Binki

I finally did it, I broke down and took away the binki. The week leading up to this is what drove me to it. For about a week Eliie has been impossible. Starting out of the gate, two minute out of bed, she's throwing a fit. Screaming, crying, rolling around on the floor, kicking, yelling all involved and if you go to another room, she follows you and continues. We would put her in her room to finish it out only to find her in her bed with her binki and blanket. And when she wasn't throwing a fit she was back in the bed with the binki. Now it hasn't been an easy transition, day one was pretty bad, lots of fits. Day two actually has been the best day in over a week although she still asks for it and isn't happy when we say the binki went bye bye. Happy day the binki's gone!! Now we only have to hope she doesn't turn to her thumb like Weiland did when we took his away, but so far so good. Next up potty training, she's even picked out her Cinderella underware, but we'll give her more time to move on from this traumatic experiance before we get to that.


Ok so these aren't Ellie's binki's but I thought they were really cute and I'd think I'd really like to get these for this next one.
