2 Grandmas and a Great Grandma

We were lucky enough to have Grandma Sillito come and visit for a week. I don't know what i was thinking but I don't have one picture from when she was here, shame on me. Well we tried to have something planned for each day she was here. Just FYI I have two sisters who live here also so when Grandma comes she gets to visit all of us so we get her more often than my brothers. So as a quick recap, she arrived on Mon. and we all got together for lunch and hung out for the afternoon. We divide up where she'll stay so all the kids will have a chance to have Grandma stay at their house (got to make things fair). Well Court had her for the first three nights, so Tues. we met up and since it was a really nice day we decided to see if we could get to Mesa Falls for a picnic, no luck. The road to the falls was still closed due to snow. So we had lunch at Big Judd's (burger joint) and ran home to get bikes and go to the park and spent most of the afternoon there chasing kids. Later that evening Grandma shows up with a surprise for the kids. She had gotten Quinton and Weiland both a two wheel bike (we had big wheels until this point). They were soooo excited! Quinton LOVES his and would ride it rain, sun or snow (which we still get) if I'd let him. Weiland is still adjusting to pedaling and balancing but is getting better and enjoying it more. Thank you again Grandma for that.

Ellie couldn't be left out so she got a Dora color book, ball and doll. She'd sleep with the ball if I let her and of course loves to color so all were perfect. Moving on, Wed. the girls took Grandma to the new Rexburg Temple and dinner, both were great, well really the temple was more great than dinner. Thurs. we did some shopping around town, Grandma and Lacey took the three older boys to see Horton Hears a Who and we played together. Fri. was movie night. Sat. we took Grandma for a pedicure and lunch. Sun. had dinner together and had to say goodbye (didn't think I'd have to do it so soon).
Then we got another treat. Grandma Crabtree came to visit Sunday night with Great Grandma Williams. (weird to me to write it like that, should be mom and Grandma Williams) They arrived around the kids bedtime so we mostly stayed up and chatted that evening. Mon. we went to a park to feed the ducks and let the kids play, met up with Todd at Mc D's for lunch and basically rested for the afternoon. We did family night with them and reminded them of the "good old days" of doing family night with small kids. Tues. we went to the temple with them as soon as Todd got out of class. Then they had to pack up to drive back to Utah. It was a very quick visit and it went by so fast. The kids were also spoiled by Grandma and Great Grandma and loved every minute. Thank you all for coming we love to have company! Looking forward when you can visit again.
What a great famly we belong to.

love the bikes!! Maybe seeing Wei on a "big kid bike" will get Jaden to want one... he is NOT giving up his Lightning McQueen trike! He pedals as fast as he can, and barely even goes anywhere...
