Well Christmas is upon us and it seems to have come so fast. We've been enjoying doing some fun holiday things. We've decorated the tree and the house. The kids love to wait and see the lights come on the tree. Todd has it on a timer since the outlet is impossible to get to with out knocking the tree down each time. He also put lights on the house and they look very festive. We've decorated a gingerbread house, which barely got any candy on it since the kids ate most of it while decorating. The kids got new Christmas PJ's to wear to bed. We've taken a trip to Utah to see the lights at Temple Square. That was a cold experience since it had snowed all that day but it just made it all the more Christmasy. The lights were beautiful and there were so many! We've attended our Ward and neighborhood Christmas parties, which are more stress for mom than she'd like due to Ellie never sitting still long enough to hear or enjoy anything. Mom will be happy when she's grown out of this stage. It has finally really snowed here which makes it feel more like Christmas as well. The kids were able to enjoy the snow a little before the temp. dropped into the teens. They came in with the rosiest cheeks I'd ever seen, and the coldest noses ever.
We've also celebrated a birthday this month, Quinton turned 5 on the 5th and we did a two day celebration. The first we did just our family and opened gifts from mom and dad as well as grandparents. Thank you to them, he loves his trains! Then the following Sunday had cousins and aunts and uncles over to have cake and ice cream. Hard to believe he's 5 already. He and Weiland (and especially mom) are looking forward to starting preschool at the college late January. Dad also starts school this next month, this will be a big adjustment around here. We are so used to having him around all the time, and will have to get adjusted to his new hours. But we are on our last leg here in Idaho before we move on to the next and final (hopefully) step.
We wish you all a Merry Christmas, as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, the reason for the season.

Looks like you guys have had lot of fun this winter. You have such cute kids, Tiff! I bet they're enjoying the snow. I must admit, I don't really miss Rexburg winters.
